My second article was titled, "How to Improve E-Commerce Consumer Experience in 2020." This article gave three main ways to update and upgrade your consumers' E-Commerce experiences. These three ways were through personalization, conversational marketing, and social proof. These tactics use the idea that people trust other people more than they trust companies. The other tactic that they are using would be creating customized content that attracts the consumer and allows them to feel not as if they are sifting through pages of products that they will never use. Using these tactics can make the consumer's 3.5 times more likely to make additional purchases. I personally think, after reading through this article, that if a website used these tactics that the website would see items from the web additional items being purchased. I highly suggest this article to anyone who runs an E-Commerce company.
I like how this article shows E-commerce in a good light, rather than a trap. Telling how people can not only sell more, but make the experience easier, more organized, and overall better for their customers. And your post provided a good overview of the article.
ReplyDeleteI find it useful that the websites are being customized to help give the shopper a better experience. I also like the idea that the websites are giving more information on the product and a way to ask questions through the FAQ. I agree with you that these tactics would get people to buy additional items.
ReplyDeleteI think it is very important that websites are customizing themselves to meet the shoppers wants. The article is very positive towards the new world of selling and i agree that this is a successful way for a website to work.
